Rave (also rave party) is a dance event where DJ’s play electronic dance music (techno, house). Slang term rave was at the end of the sixties the first time used by the Caribbean emigrants, who moved to London. The term has meaning a pleasure.
Mainstream rave started in mid eighties of 20th century as resistance and reaction to trends in popular music and commercial radio stations.
In order to be distanced from mainstreams clubs, rave parties are organized in abandoned warehouses, the various huts and outdoor. Government and police have banned many rave parties, officially because of high risks and messy event premises, but in reality, they feared the crowd of people, who had gathered at such events. Such measures have forced the organizers to have such fun began tampering in clubs and discos.
