Rave is a modern pagan religion, in which DJ's (Shamans) with the primal rhythms (which are encoded in our memory back to the times of the first rites of the Stone Age) and the hypnotic mantra leading techno dancers (believers) in a state of trance ravished in which the crowd poured into a single pulsating heart, which is capable of communicating with other spatial and temporal dimensions. In the initiation some believers needs drug help to have a similar (but milder effect) as some ritual pagan peoples drugs (eg magic mushrooms). When they finally got the essence of the ritual, the need for drugs decreasing.
